Ever wonder how that “weaving” technique is achieved by knitting? It is easier than you’d think. Come learn the basics of Entrelac knitting – set up, structure, stitching, pattern and color planning – and practice on a small piece with classmates during an afternoon. The technique will open up a trove of new opportunities to experiment with color and texture.
Stacey is a lifetime knitter and college professor whose background in architecture drew her to this ‘three-dimensional” knitting style long ago.
Supplies: medium-sized needles (in the 5,6,7,8 range) + three or four different colors of yarn (should be the same weight / material).
